KT-A Alarm Module

KT-A is a specailly constructed alarm module, designed for remote alarm in connection with one or more frost guard thermostats of either the KT-M10BA or KT-M10D type.

The thermostats have alarm output terminals, which send a signal in case of error in a sensor or too low a temperature. Taking space into consideration, these output terminals are constructed as "PNP" transistor outputs. This gives them the advantage of being able to connect to several parallel alarm output terminals, but at the same time it limits their load capacity and operational range.

These limitations are overcome by using the KT-A alarm module, which has an input specially designed to fit the output terminal of the thermotats and is equipped with a potential-free make contact designed for heavy loads.
